The Parramatta Eels are reportedly set to win the race for Tallyn Da Silva’s signature, with the Wests Tigers hooker signing a four-and-a-half year contract to join Jason Ryle’s side.
That is according to The Daily Telegraph, who reported that the deal will have immediate effect with Da Silva to link up with Parramatta mid-season.
The deal will reportedly be signed off on Monday.
It is a huge coup for the Eels, who were fighting the Sea Eagles, Knights and Cowboys for the 20-year-old’s services.

Parramatta has been on the lookout for a long-term option at hooker since losing Reed Mahoney to the Bulldogs and while Ryley Smith has had a promising rookie campaign, he has battled injuries as of late and Da Silva’s arrival will ease the pressure on him to pump out big minutes.
