THURSDAY

Parramatta Eels vs Melbourne Storm, 7.50pm AEST at CommBank Stadium

Last week’s Eels team: 1. Joash Papalii 2. Zac Lomax 3. Viliami Penisini 4. Sean Russell 5. Josh Addo-Carr 6. Dean Hawkins 7. Mitchell Moses 8. J’maine Hopgood 9. Ryley Smith 10. Junior Paulo 11. Charlie Guymer 12. Jack Williams 13. Dylan Walker 14. Tallyn Da Silva 15. Luca Moretti 16. Matt Doorey 17. Sam Tuivaiti. 18th man: 19. Jordan Samrani

Team Tips: Mitchell Moses made a successful return at halfback and formed a strong combination with Dean Hawkins at five-eighth in the win over the Broncos, with Joash Papalii filling in for injured fullback Isaiah Iongi with aplomb. Iongi is not due back from a hand injury until Round 25. Dylan Brown is likely to remain in the reserves for a third straight week. Kelma Tuilagi is due back from suspension and will come into calculations for the forwards rotation, but Jason Ryles may opt to stick with a winning formula.

Last week’s Storm team: 1. Nick Meaney 17. Kane Bradley 2. Grant Anderson 3. Jack Howarth 5. Xavier Coates 6. Tyran Wishart 7. Jahrome Hughes 8. Stefano Utoikamanu 9. Harry Grant 10. Josh King 11. Shawn Blore 12. Eliesa Katoa 13. Trent Loiero 4. Joe Chan 14. Bronson Garlick 15. Ativalu Lisati 16. Tui Kamikamica. 18th man: 18. Siulagi Tuimalatu-Brown

Team Tips: Jahrome Hughes is out with a dislocated shoulder likely until the finals, with Tyran Wishart likely to replace him at halfback, but Jonah Pezet is another option, according to Craig Bellamy. Cameron Munster is set to return after being given last week off for his father’s funeral. Ryan Papenhuyzen is due back from a calf injury that has ruled him out for four games, but he has had a few false starts. If he is fit, Nick Meaney will likely shift to the centres, with Grant Anderson moving to the wing and Kane Bradley dropping out. Joe Chan was picked at centre last week, but will likely be named on the bench after a late switch last week. Alec McDonald is due back from a rib injury and could come onto the bench. Nelson Asofa-Solomona remains suspended until Round 23.

FRIDAY

New Zealand Warriors vs Dolphins, 6pm AEST at Go Media Stadium

Last week’s Warriors team: 1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak 3. Adam Pompey 4. Kurt Capewell 5. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 6. Chanel Harris-Tavita 7. Tanah Boyd 8. James Fisher-Harris 9. Wayde Egan 10. Jackson Ford 11. Leka Halasima 12. Marata Niukore 13. Erin Clark 14. Te Maire Martin 15. Jacob Laban 16. Demitric Vaimauga 17. Tanner Stowers-Smith. 18th man: 20. Samuel Healey

Team Tips: The Warriors were disappointing in their loss to the Titans, with Wayde Egan in doubt with a head knock. If he is ruled out, Samuel Healey will likely come into the 17 at hooker after being named 18th man last week. Te Maire Martin could be an option to come into the halves for Tanah Boyd after he struggled against his old club. Freddy Lussick (ankle) and Rocco Berry (shoulder) are not due back until Round 24 and 25 repspectively.

Round 20 Dolphins team: 1. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 2. Jamayne Isaako 3. Max Feagai 4. Herbie Farnworth 18. Tevita Naufahu 5. Jake Averillo 7. Isaiya Katoa 8. Francis Molo 9. Jeremy Marshall-King 10. Aublix Tawha 11. Connelly Lemuelu 12. Oryn Keeley 13. Kurt Donoghoe 14. Harrison Graham 15. Ray Stone 16. Josh Kerr 17. Peter Hola. 18th man: 19. Kenny Bromwich

Team Tips: The Dolphins had the bye last week after beating the Cowboys 43-24 in Round 20 and moved into the top eight after Manly’s loss to the Bulldogs. Felise Kaufusi (knee) and Mark Nicholls (concussion) are both due back in Round 22, with Aublix Tawha and Francis Molo potentially shifting to the bench in a forward pack reshuffle. That will mean two bench players could miss out from the Round 20 side, with Peter Hola and Harrison Graham the most likely. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki (thumb) and Kodi Nikorima (hamstring) are not due back until Round 24.

Brisbane Broncos vs South Sydney Rabbitohs, 8pm AEST at Suncorp Stadium

Last week’s Broncos team: 1. Reece Walsh 2. Josiah Karapani 3. Kotoni Staggs 4. Gehamat Shibasaki 5. Jesse Arthars 6. Ezra Mam 7. Adam Reynolds 8. Xavier Willison 9. Ben Hunt 10. Payne Haas 11. Brendan Piakura 12. Jordan Riki 13. Patrick Carrigan 14. Billy Walters 15. Kobe Hetherington 16. Corey Jensen 17. Jack Gosiewski. 18th man: 18. Tyson Smoothy

Team Tips: Payne Haas has an injury scare in the warm-up and also tweaked his ankle late in the loss to the Eels, but Michael Maguire put it down to his temperamentle body after a long season. Michael Maguire will likely keep faith with the same team despite the loss, but Selwyn Cobbo could be an option to come onto the wing. Cory Paix (elbow) and Benjamin Te Kura (foot) remain sidelined through injury.

Last week’s Rabbitohs team: 1. Jye Gray 2. Alex Johnston 3. Isaiah Tass 4. Tallis Duncan 5. Tyrone Munro 6. Jack Wighton 7. Lewis Dodd 8. Tevita Tatola 16. Ryan Gray 10. Sean Keppie 11. Euan Aitken 12. Jai Arrow 13. Lachlan Hubner 9. Siliva Havili 14. Liam Le Blanc 15. Jacob Host 17. Ashton Ward. 18th man: 18. Thomas Fletcher

Team Tips: Skipper Jack Wighton is facing a three week ban for a shoulder charge with an early guilty plea. Souths were reportedly weighing up a legal challenge to contest Wighton’s charge at the judiciary. Jamie Humphreys is due back from concussion and will likely take back the no.7 jersey with Lewis Dodd shifting to five-eighth for Wighton. The injury cursed season continues for the Rabbitohs with prop Tevita Tatola dislocating his shoulder in the last try of the losss to the Sharks. Shaquai Mitchell looms as the likely replacement, while Thomas Fletcher could also come into the 17 to face a big Broncos pack. Ryan Gray made over 60 tackles after starting at hooker and will likely be named in the No.9 jersey this week with Siliva Havili dropping back to the bench. Peter Mamouzelos is due back from concussion and could come onto the bench, while Bayleigh Bentley-Hape is due back from a groin injury and could come onto the wing after Tyrone Munro had an unhappy night under the high ball against the Sharks. Brandon Smith (knee) and Latrell Mitchell (quad) are not due back until Round 23 and 24 respectively.

Team Tips: Sam Verrills was a late scratching for the win over the Warriors for the birth of his first child, with Chris Randall starting at hooker and Jacob Alick-Wiencke moving from the bench into the second row. Verrills will likely come back in sparking a reshuffle with Sean Mullany dropping off the bench. However, Randall has a head knock and will need to pass concussion protocols to face the Panthers. Team Tips: Jaydn Su’A is likely to be ruled out with a knee injury suffered against Cowboys with Hamish Stewart likely to start and Ben Murdoch-Masila and Loko Jnr Pasifiki Tonga vying for a bench spot. Blake Lawrie was a late call-up to start last week with Emre Guler shifting to the bench. Shane Flanagan has kept faith in his halves, but another loss would make it difficult to leave Lachlan Ilias out after his form in NSW Cup.
