The Daily Telegraph reported Sexton has been offered to the Tigers as a replacement for Galvin.
However, the Tigers have other priorities at this stage after missing out on landing Broncos halfback Adam Reynolds on a two-year deal.
The Tigers have Latu Fainu as their potential long-term five-eighth alongside Jarome Luai at halfback.
However, Luai’s best position is five-eighth, so bringing in Sexton to control the team at halfback makes sense.
However, the Titans are also reportedly in the hunt for a reunion with Sexton, who was released by the club in 2023 to join the Bulldogs.
Sexton played 24 games for the Titans after debuting for the club in 2021 and had a breakout season in 2022, before his career on the Gold Coast stalled.
The 24-year-old has gone on to play 35 games for the Bulldogs and has helped lead the club to the top of the table in 2025.
However, the Bulldogs will not re-sign Sexton and he is exploring his options for 2026 and beyond.

The Titans have struggled to settle on a halfback in recent seasons with Kieran Foran switched from five-eighth and Jayden Campbell from fullback to fill the glaring void.
Sexton could play at No.7 and allow Campbell to use his running game at five-eighth, with Keano Kini and AJ Brimson vying for the fullback jersey.
However, Sexton would need to move in the next nine days before the June 30 deadline or he will be at the Bulldogs for the rest of the season.
