Third team enters race for talented young prop after Rabbitohs snub — Transfer Whispers

Three teams are reportedly in the race for Souths forward Davvy Moale, who rejected a contract extension from the Rabbitohs.

Moale is free to negotiate with rival clubs and even though he is contracted until the end of the 2026 season, it’s likely he has played his final game at South Sydney.

It was reported last week that the Cowboys and Eels were among the initial clubs interested in the talented middle, but a new team has thrown their hat in the ring.

According to Zero Tackle, the Warriors are said to be considering Moale.

Moale would bolster a middle forward pack already boasting the likes of James Fisher-Harris and Mitch Barnett, but who are set to lose Tom Ale and Bunty Afoa in the off-season.

Ale has been linked with the Panthers while it was reported a couple of weeks ago that Afoa has been told to look for a new club.

Moale has played 70 games for the Rabbitohs since debuting in 2021.

He hasn’t played since July after suffering a wrist injury.

With Moale set to depart the club, it opens a spot and creates some cap room for Souths to add star forward David Fifita.
